In 2023,Shandong Zhanggu signed a contract for the SIPM/PLM project to begin building a centralized PLM system that supports its organizational structure—comprising multiple R&D centers,production plants,and business units—and enables cross-company data sharing while maintaining necessary data isolation.Through this implementation,Shandong Zhanggu has:Standardized product development processes and the management of process documents—including inputs,outputs,and reviews—ensuring all files are complete,systematically archived,and easily accessible.Ensured full traceability and recordability throughout the development lifecycle,significantly enhancing project management capabilities and making the entire process controllable.Implemented tiered project management,applying differentiated workflow controls based on project levels,thereby achieving a flexible yet standardized R&D process and enabling end-to-end digitalization of business workflows.Established the principle of“one code throughout”(a single identifier maintained across the entire business lifecycle),providing robust BOM data support for deeper adoption in production systems.Centered technical documentation—including drawings—around the BOM for integrated management.Implemented effective engineering change control across the organization.Integrated the PLM system with CAD,ERP,CRM,OA,and MES systems,transforming the SIPM/PLM platform into a true enterprise-wide hub for design R&D management and product data governance.Leveraged the speed and traceability of digital networks to gradually establish electronic notification,approval,and review mechanisms—eliminating errors and omissions common in manual processes.Standardized document management by unifying standards for drawings,inspection criteria,product specifications,technical documents,project documentation,and coding rules.Built a shared knowledge repository and enabled cross-departmental collaboration.

Recently,to better ensure the platform’s sustained and stable operation and align its evolution with the company’s growth,Shandong Zhanggu renewed its maintenance service agreement with SIPM for the period 2026–2028.
