Yinlun introduced the SIPM/PLM system in 2013. Leveraging PLMs as an information tool and supported by R&D organizational restructuring and process improvement initiatives, the company has progressively standardized its R&D processes, product specifications, and employee knowledge management. In 2015, Yinlun implemented a process management solution and integrated it with its SAP system, enabling structured management of process design and achieving a qualitative leap in process standardization capabilities. This integration eliminated information silos across departments and ensured enterprise-wide data accuracy, consistency, and completeness—thus realizing comprehensive digital management across both technical and manufacturing departments and significantly enhancing the company’s core competitiveness.In 2017, Yinlun signed another contract with Software for an English-language version of the system and MES integration. Since then, the company has repeatedly expanded its licensed user seats and added functional modules, further deepening SIPM/PLM adoption across the organization.

As SIPM/PLM usage at Yinlun has grown increasingly extensive and its scope of management broadened, the company recently signed a new agreement with SIPM to implement PLM solutions in North America. This initiative aims to better ensure the platform’s continuous, stable operation and align its evolution with the company’s own growth trajectory. SIPM/PLM now serves as a powerful global collaborative R&D management platform that supports Chinese manufacturers expanding overseas, effectively connecting China with the rest of the world.
