In 2022, Datong Baofu partnered with SIPM to implement the SIPM/PLM system, integrating design and process data with SAP information systems. The successful deployment of PLM has significantly enhanced the company’s product management capabilities and improved the management of its design and R&D processes. By integrating structural design software and process design software with the PLM system, Datong Baofu ensured the standardization and consistency of product design data.This integration has progressively increased the efficiency of both product management and design/R&D activities, improved design and development quality, reduced product development costs, and strengthened the confidentiality of technical documentation. The entire design process—from requirements, products, and designs to materials, drawings, and documents—is now centrally managed online, enabling engineers to quickly access data and greatly improving their work efficiency.

After several years of stable operation, Datong Baofu has decided to expand the application of the SIPM/PLM system by purchasing additional user licenses to meet its growing development needs.
