Founded in March 2008,Starair Aircraft Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as"Starair")is a high-tech joint-stock private enterprise with a combination of production,training and research.The founder is Professor He Qinghua,a leading figure in the field of mechanical and electrical engineering at Central South University.We specialize in the R&D,manufacturing and sales of manned light aircraft,unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)and aviation parts,as well as the provision of related services.

In 2022, to enhance its product development management capabilities, Starair Aircraft Co., Ltd. adopted SIPM’s R&D management information platform. Through the implementation of the PLM system, the project team reviewed and optimized Starair’s business operations and design & development processes. Centered on project management, data management, document management, process management, change management, data integration, task management, and knowledge management, the company established standardized and normalized data practices to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and consistency of product and business data. This initiative helped reduce product costs, improve R&D efficiency, and ultimately achieve integrated R&D and manufacturing, full product lifecycle management, and platform- and module-based product development.

Recently, driven by business growth and the successful application of SIPM/PLM, Starair Aircraft Co., Ltd. has placed an additional order to expand its SIPM/PLM deployment.

We have obtained various qualifications and certifications within the civil aviation industry,including the Type Certificate(TC)issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China(CAAC),the Production Certificate(PC),the Light Sport Aircraft(LSA)airworthiness certification granted by the Federal Aviation Administration(FAA)of the United States,the Certificate of Airworthiness for LSA issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority(CASA)of Australia,qualifications for unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)pilot training and the AS9100D International Aerospace Quality System Certification.We are one of the limited high-tech privately-owned enterprises in China that possesses all of these qualifications within the civil aviation sector.
