In 2024, AMITIME Electric signed a contract with Sipu to leverage the SIPM/PLM system to enhance its R&D management capabilities. Through PLM implementation, the company has standardized its product development processes and established unified management of all product-related information—integrating product documents, drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and other data. Using the BOM as the central link, all development-related data and documents are now systematically interconnected. This approach eliminates issues such as multiple part numbers for a single item or a single part number assigned to multiple items right from the design phase, providing managers with clear, visual data sources and a solid foundation for decision-making. The implementation has also enabled seamless end-to-end business data flow, ensuring accurate data transmission and elevating AMITIME’s data standardization to a new level.
