From July 18 to 19, 2026, the Consulting Services Department of Shanghai SIPM Information Technology Co., Ltd. successfully hosted its mid-year meeting and team-building event at Junlan Hotel in Xiangjiadang, Jiaxing, under the theme “The Path to Implementation Success.” All implementation consultants and company executives participated in the event, which was hosted by Liu Rong, with Huang Yi and Wang Cheng serving as event coordinators. The agenda included keynote speeches, employee sharing sessions, mid-year performance reviews, and immersive team challenges—fostering both intellectual exchange and collaborative practice, and galvanizing the team’s morale for the second half of 2026.

Anchoring the Goal: An Implementation Methodology Guided by “First Battle, Final Victory; Departure, Immediate Success”

On the morning of July 18, the meeting officially commenced under Liu Rong’s moderation. General Manager Ying delivered an inspiring keynote speech titled “First Battle, Final Victory; Departure, Immediate Success – The SIPM/PLM Path to Implementation Success,” systematically introducing SIPM’s “3-7-12” Implementation Methodology.Mr. Ying explained that the success of a PLM project can be quantified as follows:3 parts software (13.6%)、7 parts implementation (31.8%)、12 parts data (54.5%)。He emphasized that software is the foundational prerequisite, with functional solutions, custom development, and system validation forming the project’s technical backbone. Implementation is the critical factor, hinging on five core components: business process analysis and customization, permission architecture design, document template standardization, electronic signature workflow configuration, and data standard definition—these determine whether the system can truly integrate into the enterprise’s operations. Most importantly, data is the soul of the project: from test data preparation to the migration of active R&D and production data into the system, data quality directly dictates ultimate success, accounting for 54.5% of the total weight.Building on this framework, Mr. Ying further articulated two non-negotiable red lines for all SIPM/PLM implementations:“One-time engagement” – Once a project starts, the implementation team remains on-site continuously until successful go-live, without premature departure.“System adoption in daily operations” – Enforced through two mandatory practices: electronic drawing approval and BOM-data source unification. He stressed that these two principles serve as concrete levers to ensure the PLM system becomes the operational core of the customer’s R&D and production ecosystem. He reaffirmed SIPM’s solemn commitment: “Professional team, scientific methodology, full-cycle accompaniment, guaranteed success”—a promise that every implementation consultant must fulfill through action.Mr. Ying’s address provided the department with a clear, actionable roadmap for implementation excellence in the second half of 2026.

Employee representatives shared practical project experiences on implementation methodologies and distinctive system features, providing concrete examples that exemplify the principles of “one-time engagement, real adoption, and tangible results.”

Following the sharing session, the department recognized outstanding employees who demonstrated exceptional performance in 2025, inspiring all colleagues to emulate their excellence and strive for greater achievements.

Immersive Experience: Forging Team Spirit Through the “Startup & Business Management Simulation”

The meeting then reached its highlight with a professionally facilitated “Startup & Business Management Simulation”—a dynamic sandbox exercise that immersed participants in a realistic business environment. Teams started from scratch, forming their own “companies,” crafting strategies, managing operations, and competing in a simulated market. The game rigorously tested participants’ abilities in teamwork, resource allocation, strategic decision-making, and adaptability under pressure. The atmosphere was intense yet energizing, filled with spirited competition and moments of collaborative support.Throughout the simulation, teams engaged in fierce market battles while also demonstrating mutual assistance and shared learning—vividly embodying the spirit of “boundaryless collaboration.” Ultimately, the winning team distinguished itself through a clear business model and highly effective execution. In the post-activity reflection, participants unanimously agreed that the true value lay not in winning or losing, but in the profound insights gained through immersive experience—particularly in goal decomposition, risk management, and building trust within teams. These lessons are expected to directly translate into enhanced performance and cohesion in real-world project delivery.

In-Depth Review: Reflecting, Identifying Gaps, and Clarifying Direction Through Group Performance Reviews

On the morning of July 19, the department conducted its mid-year performance reviews in cross-center teams. Each employee candidly reviewed their work achievements, shortcomings, and improvement plans against their annual goals, supported by concrete data. This review process was not merely an assessment of performance—it served as a profound exercise in self-reflection and peer learning. Team members provided constructive feedback and guidance to one another, helping each individual clarify their development path for the second half of the year. The atmosphere was practical, open, and collaborative, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Closing Remarks

This mid-year series of activities served not only as a deep retrospective on the past, but also as a collective pledge for the future. Mr. Ying’s call—“First Battle, Final Victory; Departure, Immediate Success”—is both a methodology and a clear implementation goal. The passionate collaboration experienced during the simulation game and the sober self-awareness gained through performance reviews have converged into a shared commitment across the team for the second half of the year. The Consulting Services Department will move forward with greater agility and tighter collaboration, driven by the determination to achieve one-time successful delivery and the practical results of ensuring systems are truly adopted in daily operations. In doing so, we will faithfully fulfill SIPM’s solemn promise in its implementation framework and deliver mutual success for both our clients and ourselves.
