Founded in 1995, Qingdao Meide Rubber & Plastics Co., Ltd. is a high-end joint-venture manufacturer of rubber products, established jointly by Qingdao Zhangshi Shangjia Technology, DRAFTEX of Germany and Sida of the United States. The company is located in the SCO Local Cooperation Demonstration Zone in Jiaozhou, with a total project investment of RMB 130 million and a site area of 53,000 m². It currently employs more than 200 people and has an annual production capacity of over 5,000 tonnes. Main products: seals for automotive applications, anti-vibration bushings, glass curtain walls, cabinets and special containers, as well as other rubber products.

This project will establish an integrated enterprise IT application platform to help Meide Rubber & Plastics manage its product design and process engineering work in a comprehensive way, keep its large volume of product data under effective control, and exercise overall control over the product development process — speeding up product development, reducing development costs, improving product quality and enhancing the company's R&D and innovation capability.
