In 2017, Zhejiang Weitai Auto Parts Co., Ltd. partnered with SIPM Software to implement project management capabilities that standardized and controlled the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process for product development. The collaboration also established a corporate knowledge accumulation mechanism, created a unified coding system for R&D management, and leveraged the Change Management module to standardize engineering change processes. By utilizing SIPM/PLM’s powerful workflow engine, engineering changes were effectively executed and implemented. Furthermore, through SIPM/PLM’s robust integration technology, seamless integration between PLM and SAP was achieved.Since then, the company—now operating under the brand FOCUSFILTER—has continuously expanded its PLM investment by purchasing additional functional modules and concurrent user licenses to accommodate the growing R&D team and the increasing demand from other departments for rapid access to PLM product information.

As FOCUSFILTER continues to enhance its management practices, it recently re-engaged with SIPM to launch an SIPM/PLM system upgrade initiative.
